Hello, I am Emily Cook, and I am ecstatic to be an intern at WIN, better known as a WINtern! I attend Berry College, and I will graduate in 2027. I am a Marketing and Management double major with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I love gaining knowledge within marketing and expanding my skill set, so I am excited for the tasks ahead!
Experience
I am thankful for the opportunity to manage a social media for an organization at my college. Through the Berry College IPSE social media, I have grown a love and passion for social media and digital marketing. I have completed the Introduction to Marketing course, and I am currently taking the Social Media and Digital Marketing course at Berry College.
On campus, I am also involved with my job within Information Technology which pushes me to try new things and learn that I am capable of more than I ever imagined. I have had the incredible opportunity to gain certifications such as Low-Voltage Fiber Optics. These certificates help broaden my skill set, and they bring new opportunities.
Future goals
I aspire to continue this work through my life and strongly pursue opportunities within the Social Media and Digital Marketing field after graduation. Being a WINtern will allow me to gain critical marketing and social media skills that will help me as I begin my career. As I would also love to pursue social media marketing within the wedding industry. I have loved weddings my whole life, and I love, love, so working in this industry has always been appealing to me because of the impact it has on an important day is peoples’ lives.
Fun Facts
I performed in the OakHill Museum movie telling the story of Berry College’s founder, Martha Berry. I acted as a student who worked in the home of Martha Berry.
I love to sing, act, dance, read, and be outdoors.
I have a puppy named Bentley, and he is a mini Australian Shepherd!
I have a very positive and optimistic outlook on life!
I was a majorette in high school, so I can twirl fire!
I would love to own a wedding venue someday!
