As a recent grad, I am excited to start my professional journey with you all! My name is Tanya Lopez, I am 22 years old, I am a first-generation college student and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. A few things about me are:

I like to bake one of my favorite things to make is strawberry cake cookies with white chocolate chips
I sew in my free time
I enjoy watching time-period/romance films
I spend a lot of my free time on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube
I have never dyed my hair before.
Academic Background
I graduated from Texas Woman's University in May of 2023 with a Bachelor's in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. In the future, I hope to get a Master's and a PhD degree in Marketing with an emphasis in digital marketing abroad. During my academic journey, I have developed effective communication, time management, and teamwork skills, which I believe are essential for success in the workplace.
I am excited to begin my career in marketing and believe that my enthusiasm, skills, and dedication will, hopefully, help grow the WIN community. I look forward to working with all of you in the next few months and learning more about this field.
WIN Internship
From this internship, I hope to gain more knowledge about marketing and how to implement it in different aspects of business specifically on social media posting and engagement. I am interested in learning how to effectively market on social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. My focus would be on how to engage with potential customers and how to maintain their interest and attention. Additionally, I would like to learn how to identify emerging trends and incorporate them into a company's social media strategy. I am also keen on improving my skills in creating engaging and enjoyable content on social media posts. Finally, as a recent grad and first-generation, I would like to learn how to network with other professionals in my field and related fields.
